I know what your thinking “but HFV we just did this yesterday!” and you’ re right. So this time you get One filter option. Could be a particular make, a year minimum , or maximum, only manual, only automatic, a particular body type, or even one color. It could be the world “weird” fro all I care, but you only get ONE FILTER.
for any one that missed it last time, here are the rules:
So here’s the challenge you get a 4Car Garage. No budget, but the only rule is you can only have what’s posted on the first page of your most local CL, or Kijijikiji, or whatever your nations equivalent. For me that means Nothern Wi CL. I was hoping to use Duluth but per my own made up rules that’s cheating
Now I could just do “ manual only” , but thats literally my default CL setting s o thats not much fun. I nstead I set maximum year to 1972.
my first choice is this wacky little thing
a Fiat Multpla. I honestly dont know much about this car but it looks like an original 500 turned into a backwards minivan with a mustache on the front . and i love it. also look at those knobby back tires, some one used this thing in al l weather and any on any road. Which in northern Wi means some conditions this car was never meant to see. And being rear engined and extremely light weight, I bet it gets real interesting on snow, or mud.
choice number 2 would be my daily driver. A 68 El Camino with a 396 and a manual transmission. I’m guessing this car would cost about 400 dollars a month in gas alone but hey this is a budget less garage. I do have to admit that wit h this one I kinda cheated, the Filter only gave 11 results for my actual local CL and this car is in the surrounding area. but still technically first page.
number 3 is a classy looking 47 Ford with a flathead v8
last I was hoping to get at least on honest sports car, preferably a Spitfire, but this will do. a 54 MG TF. These cars seem so odd to me. they were built in the 50s but they look like a miniature 2 0's roadster.
check out these octagon gauges. funky

Set my filter for Indianapolis to 1955 and older. This one grabbed my attention immediately, obviously. Crazy expe nsive but budget being no concern...

Bizarrely, this is still available and still haunting my dreams:

This would be my “why the hell not?” choice:

For my daily driver:

And oh there’s no way I can limit it to 4. I mean, look at this wacky Frankencrosley!

That Willy’s is awesome, the Jeep is perfection, the Fire truck is a FIRE TRUCK, and that Crown VIc is awesome. I’m a huge fan on the bullet nose shoebox Fords and thats the coolest one. That “hard top” roof is really cool.

I wanted to leave myself the option of modern vehicles so went without a filter.
Looks like I’d have a green TR6, a a ‘97 yellow F250 with utility bed, a ‘53 Chrysler:
...and this, because fuck it:
Total insanity, off-roadable with a vinyl top.

that Eagle is so confused about what it w ants to be.
And that Chrysler is hot.

I did not have time to do this yesterday, so this is filter free.
The commuter:
Solstice GXP with manual
Track car:
2001 Z06 manual
My Truck
1992 Subaru Sambar
The only option older than 1965
1928 Chrylser Model 54

Mm GXP. That Chrysler looks like it needs some work. Good candidate for a rat project. Since most of it is gone anyway.

a very top notch selection. That Chevy is YUUUGE. the Buick is amazing. i love that swept down body line that goes from the grill all the way to the taillights. the Firechicken is best firechicken because T tops, snow flake wheels, and machined aluminum dash, ajnd the 54 Builk you could go any direction with, but i think a Gasser would be the right one .

Filter search term “broken”. Lots of British and German cars to choose from!
Such savings!

Don’t have time to look up my own 4 car garage, but as the site’s biggest fan of classic FIATs, I feel it is my duty to point out the Multipla is actually FIAT 600 based! :D :P
ALSO, YAY! MULTIPLA!

My only complaint on the Firechicken is that it’s not a WS6 which got the 15x8 wheels with the 1 inch lip that look so much better. I kind of settled on the truck, wanted 4x4 but the only one that I liked was an old International 4x4 but was single cab and I need room for my shit. The Buicks are righteous no matter what I do.

If you could fix rust (even without restoring it), replacement parts are not hard to come by - as they were 600-based, I bet the brakes are just normal 600 brakes and there are even US merchants and many European merchants that sell parts for them at reasonable prices!
Even if you only patched the bad rust and left the patina, it would be an inter
esting ride, and Multiplas are well sought-after, so it would only go up in value! :)
